SUMMARY: Humourous teen pony story. Whilst house-sitting for an elderly neighbour when he is in hospital, Joanna falls in love with his horse, which is actually called Horse! She also meets local boy John and his champion show horse Queenie. But when Horse's owner's nephew plans to sell Horse, Joanna must come up with a plan to save her!

2) MOTHER WANTS A HORSE

SUMMARY: Angry with her parents, Joanna storms off to ride a mad gallop on one of the stable's horses. Calamity strikes and she ends up injured and unable to ride for 6 months. She is understandingly devastated, but being unable to ride forces her into a new outlook on life.

Both are easy to find in the USA. A lot harder elsewhere however.
